Portsmouth Jami Mosque and Islamic Centre

Portsmouth Jami Mosque & Islamic Centre is the first established mosque and place of worship for Muslims in Portsmouth, founded in 1972. It is the largest mosque on the South coast of England and can accommodate more than a thousand worshippers. Services include Islamic education, nikah, funeral assistance including washing and shrouding, and community programmes for youth.
