Philadelphia Masjid

The Philadelphia Masjid has been located in West Philadelphia since 1975, originally as Sister Clara Muhammad School, which evolved from the University of Islam established in the 1930s under Elijah Muhammad and later led by Imam Warith Deen Mohammad from 1975. It is both a place of worship and an Education Center offering Islamic and secular studies, children's programs, and community outreach.
