    The Nigerian Islamic Association (N.I.A.) is a 501(c) nonprofit founded in the late 1980s by young Nigerian immigrants to establish a strong religious and cultural identity for Nigerians and the broader African Muslim community in Chicago. It offers the five daily prayers, Jumu'ah, Lutfullah, weekend Qur'anic school, welfare assistance, and health services. It holds its main location at 932 W. Sheridan Rd and is expanding with the forthcoming Southside Islamic Center.
