    The Muslim Community Center of Portland (MCCP) is the oldest Islamic community in Oregon, founded in 1973 under the leadership of Imam W.D. Muhammad. Located in NE Portland, MCCP promotes Quranic community life and develops Islamic institutions according to the Quran and Sunnah, serving a diverse community with deep roots in African American heritage.
