Masjid Saad Foundation began as a small prayer area on The University of Toledo's campus in 1976. The community has grown to a 14.2 acre property housing Toledo Islamic Academy (pre-school through 12th grade), Al-Bayan Weekend Arabic School, and a prayer area with capacity to hold 1600 people.
