    Masjid Fresno Islamic Center (MFIC) was first established in 1979. Through donations from Muslims worldwide, the existing two-story building was completed in 1989. MFIC runs a successful Outreach (Dawah) Program with many people reverting to Islam. Weekly classes on Arabic, Islamic studies, and Quran are held by the Imam.
