Masjid AQSA-SALAM is home to the oldest Muslim community ever founded in New York and its surroundings. Established in 1996 by immigrants from Côte d'Ivoire, it is the result of the merger of two Harlem mosques, AQSA and SALAM, serving as a community hub in 'Little Africa'.
