    Islamic Ahlul Bayt Association (IABA) is the only Ithna A'shari organization in Austin, Texas, founded in 1997. Originally formed by college students, IABA is a culturally diverse center with approximately 300 Muslims, a vibrant young community. The Al-Mahdi Center sits on 4.1 acres in Northwest Austin with a main prayer hall, libraries, and classrooms for the weekend school.
