Evington Muslim Centre

Masjid Umar in Leicester was built in 2000, funded almost entirely by the local Muslim community. The masjid offers the five daily prayers, Jumuah prayers, and provides facilities for the Madrassah. It welcomes school visits, hosts Nikah ceremonies, and offers a variety of classes including those specifically for women.
