The Albanian Muslim Society of Toronto (AMST), founded in 1957 by Albanian immigrants, has been the heart of Albanian heritage and Islamic faith in Canada. Currently located at 564 Annette Street, the mosque has over 2,300 members and offers daily prayers, Friday prayers, a School of Islam for children, and plans to build a new, larger Albanian mosque and cultural centre.
