The Albanian Islamic Center in Harper Woods, Michigan is a place of worship, learning, and community rooted in rich Albanian heritage and Islamic tradition. Founded in 1945 as the Albanian American Moslem Society, the center opened in 1963 and is the first permanent home for Albanian American Muslims in the United States. It houses a large prayer hall, classrooms, a social hall, gymnasium, offices, and a banquet facility accommodating up to 650 guests.
