Quranic Arabic 2nd Semester

As-Salaam Alaikum,

MAPS is holding the last part of Quranic Arabic this year. Levels 1 and 2 have already been covered for the first semester.

The second semester will consist of Levels 3, 4, 5 and 6. Classes will begin January 31st and run till June 22nd 2023. We plan to follow Lake Washington school district calendar as far as holidays go.

The class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings at MAPS Redmond in the New MPR room. Classes will be taught by Hafiz Hasan Mangrio and Tabrez Mohammed.

The curriculum will consist of the fundamentals of Arabic grammar, Arabic morphology, Advanced Arabic grammar and vocabulary. The goal is to reach 80% of Quranic Arabic vocabulary and 100% of Quranic Arabic grammar and sentence structure.

First day of Class will be January 31st, 2022 through June 22nd. There will be a break in observance of Ramadan March 22nd through April 21st.

We will also observe mid-winter break and Spring break and for any other regular school holidays following Lake Washington school district.

No class on February 16th for mid-winter break.

No classes during the week of April 10th until April 14th.
