MyCity Academy: Learn How Nashville Works, Moves, and Grows

A free civic and leadership training program for all Davidson County residents, including new citizens, immigrants, and refugees, that empowers participants to learn about and participate in city government. Sessions cover Metro Nashville government and budget, services, transit, infrastructure, public safety, and more. Participants will attend six out of seven sessions on the third Thursday of each month, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Session dates listed include Sep 17, 2026; Oct 15, 2026; Nov 19, 2026; Jan 21, 2027; Feb 18, 2027; Mar 18, 2027; Apr 15, 2027; and May 10, 2027. Applications open June 15 and close July 24; notification by mid-August.
